When I tried to think of things being on fire, the first word that came across my mind was ‘marketing’; the second thing that flashed through my mind was the song by Ellie Goulding – Burn. And it’s not just about the word ‘Burn’ actually; there are some lines in her lyrics that I think can truly describe the marketing era today.
“We don’t have to worry about nothing, cause we got the fire,” that’s exactly what I often tell people; we don’t have to worry about our content not being the most attractive, our followers not growing as fast as they used to be, our efforts being wasted and so on, because these will not happen, as the new marketing era is going to welcome the new marketing methods; I would say that we are being paranoid if we are worried whether our sites are saturated already by now; inbound marketing definitely still has so much more space for growth and expansion in years to come, and ‘saturated’ is not a word to appear in its dictionary until then.
“Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world,” that’s exactly what the inbound marketers are doing. Marketers who strike the match and take the lead, play it loud to spread the message, and give their love to the marketplace by offering new and more innovative inbound marketing channels, platforms and various other software tools, and many more. Therefore, we should behold to witness this great change of the marketing world, and in the meantime, each do our part to contribute to the shift, and finally “let it burn” as it goes on glorious fire.
